The Pipettes shimmer back into our lives with 'Boo Shuffle', a single resplendent with its own dance routine that puts them right back to their girl group roots. It was one of the last songs to be produced by the legendary Martin Rushent (The Stranglers, The Buzzcocks). With their sassy songs and their vintage references The Pipettes had remarkable success. Their second album 'Earth Vs The Pipettes' saw a move towards the sounds of seventies disco and eighties chart music, but 'Boo Shuffle' sees a return to the fifties / sixties retro vibe of their earlier material that made their name.
Already a live favourite with the fans, 'Boo Shuffle' is accompanied with a dance-moves video made with London’s all-girl '60s dance troupe The Actionettes. Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time to do the boo shuffle! Out on Fortuna POP! (7” vinyl & download) on November 14. Watch the video on YouTube HERE.
